It’s Edinburgh in August and we are deep into the chaos!  The fun, tears and laughter; the joys and tribulations of Edinburgh in August are not for the fainthearted.  For one extraordinary month, held every year bar one since 1947, Edinburgh becomes host to the biggest Arts Festival in the world.

Edinburgh City of Contrasts, in August becomes City of Exuberance. Edging on the extremes of excess and expression, the city is fit to burst. OId-world theatre crowds weave their way past piquant pop-up venues; the streets become rivers of visitors meandering through the throngs, tenaciously tracking down the next thrill and titillation.
