Chunky Celtic Triskele Ring
£38.00
Chunky Celtic Triskele ring with Celtic knot work, in Sterling silver with an oxidised finish to highlight the fine detail.
This design is also known as the “Triskele” and as the “Triple Goddess” and has been used since pre-Celtic days to symbolise the three stages of the Divine Feminine, the MAIDEN, MOTHER and CRONE (old, wise woman), referring to the 3 stages of our own existence, and the power of the Divine Feminine force in nature.
The triple spiral represents the eternal continuation of this cycle. In nature we see all around us the constant cycle of life, death and rebirth of youth, maturity and ageing. Although this is linked to the feminine, it is a unisex design which reminds us all of times where society was matriarchal and held faith in the balance of masculine and feminine.
