How to measure your ring size at home
The video below shows clearly how to size at home with a piece of string.
Our ring sizing guide will show you which UK or US size to choose.
Measuring using string and a ruler
1. Cut a 25cm length of string.
2. Wrap the string 3x tightly around the base of your finger or around the base of your knuckle
3. Mark with a pen across the centre of the coil of string
4. Place the string on a ruler to measure the length between 2 marks in mm – measure inside the marks
5. Use the chart above to calculate your ring size.
6. Use the US size to buy from Royal Mile Silver
Ring Size Guide
Our site uses USA sizing for our rings – we find this the best default in a world where there are many sizing options – this chart will help you find your size in mm, UK and US sizes. If you know your UK size it will help you convert it to US sizing.
