Description
A beautifully detailed silver viking shield pendant with intricate celtic knot work detail. Sterling silver with oxidised finish to highlight the details.
The inspiration for this pendant came form the shields that were custom made for each viking warrior – originally from planks of linden wood covered in leather on linen. The design on this shield pendant combines viking and celtic symbology. The centre has a 3 sectioned design it is believed this represented a belief in spiritual eternity and the 3 levels of existence within the eternal journey – the physical , spiritual and mental .
